Medical Cleaning Staff

Floors:

• Knowledge of the use of quaternary cleaning chemicals, used to destroy viruses and bacteria.

• Knowledge of floor cleaning methods that produce gleaming floors.

• Carpet cleaning knowledge and carpet cleaning commercial machines.

• Know how to use high speed burnisher.

• The floor must be free of dust, litter, marks, spots, water and/or other liquids. Floors are free from build up at the extremities or in traffic lanes. The floor is free of spots, scuffs, and scratches on traffic lanes, around furniture and at pivot points. Inaccessible areas (edges, corners, and around furniture) must be free of dust, lint and spots.

Windows:

• External surfaces of glass are clear of all spots and marks, like fingerprints and smudges. Window frames and ledges are clear and free of dust, marks, and spots.

Walls:

• The walls are free of dust and lint. The walls are free of marks caused by furniture, equipment or staff. Light switches, doors and door frames are free from fingerprints, scuffs and other marks.

Ceilings:

• Vents, light fixtures, and ceiling are free of dust, spots, soil film, and cobwebs.

Furnishings:

• Hard surface furniture is free of spots, soil film, dust, fingerprints and spillages. Soft surface furniture is free from stains, soil film and dust. Furniture legs, wheels and casters are free from mop string, soil film and dust.

Bathrooms:

• Porcelain surfaces are free from smudges, smears and mineral deposits. Metal surfaces are free from soil, smudges and soap buildup. Tiles and wall fixtures are free from smudges, mold, soap and mineral buildups. Plumbing fixtures are free of smudges, dust, soap and mineral buildup. Window frames cleaned. All mirrored surfaces are to be shined. Replace and renew paper items.

Odors:

• All areas are to smell fresh.

General Tidiness:

• Area appears tidy and uncluttered. Floor space clear, only occupied by furniture.

Curtains:

• Need to be cleaned on a regular basis.

Additional Tasks:

• Scrubbing floors, cleaning glass, ceilings, woodwork, etc.

Project Tasks:

• On an as needed basis tasks such as: wall washing, carpet shampooing, etc.

* Have a routine cleaning predetermined by management.

* We have a Quality Assurance programs and inspections criteria will be met. Some inspections are daily, some are on a periodic basis, and some are random.
