Description:
Advocating for uninsured patients at a surgery center in an effort to connect patients with community, state, and federal resources to cover their medical expenses and to obtain access to health care.
Working with a diverse population including children and families in crisis, undocumented immigrants, psychiatric patients, and the aged.
Managing a large caseload of patients and acting as the patients’ liaison and representative to the surgery center and other community, state, and federal organizations.
