Scrub Tech
Qualifications:
Graduate of a Scrub Tech program, OR experience as a scrub tech preferred.. CPR bi-annually required.
Job Description:
Responsible for care of patients in the OR, or instrumentation/equipment/supplies during invasive procedures
as well as maintaining a constant vigil of the sterile field. Scrub on a variety of cases; work independantly,
anticipation of surgeons needs. Understanding of surgical procedures performed, knowledge and ability to
ensure quality patient care during procedures.
Serve as a resource for others and participates in the preceptorship of staff. Understands
and demonstrates commitment to the care values of the SSC, by working in harmony with our doctors. Dealing
effectively and appropriately with constant changing environments.
