Patient Transport
Qualifications:
Two years related experience such as customer service, or a transporter; must have a valid
Florida Driver's License at time of hire, with appropriate class and no moving violations in the past two years.
Job Description:
Transport patients to and from the Southpoint Surgery Center, ancillary and support areas via wheelchairs, stretchers
or van service as requested to include transport of patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips
and special equipment.
Assist people in and out of the vehicles and escort or transport them to and from hospital lobby; carry
luggage, open doors. Control flow of traffic in front of the hospital; reroute traffic; provide information and
direction to patients and visitors.
